The Hollywood Hawks’ mission is to:

• Build an online community of Kansas alumni working in the entertainment industry all around the world.
• Sponsor programs and events in various cities that encourage members to network, collaborate, support and learn from each other.
• Create a forum where members from both the “creative” and “business” sides of the industry may gain a mutual understanding of their issues and concerns.
• Serve as a direct link between academia and professional life by educating, mentoring, and providing opportunities to current KU students.
• Maintain a dialogue with KU professors about the ever-changing developments and practices of the entertainment industry.
